Parent Meeting // May 8 at 6:30PM
We believe in supporting the families at River Oak as they raise their children to know and love God. (Deuteronomy 6:5-9, Ephesians 6:4) One way we strive to support is through our Child Dedication services. Child Dedication is a public confession by the parents to train their children in the Christian faith as God has commanded. At the same time, the church body promises to support these parents in prayer and encouragement. Our dedication services happen 3 times a year during the worship services on Sunday. Parents and their child are introduced to the congregation to confirm their dedication and prayed over.
Typically, this dedication is for parents of babies through preschool age children. Please contact us if you have older children and would like to meet with one of our Pastors for a private time of dedication.
